Pui Keng Lim and I had the opportunity to conduct an International Trademark Association (INTA) Unreal Campaign presentation at my alma mater, Victoria Institution.

As an alumnus or Old Boy, I was honoured to share about the importance of trademarks, risks of purchasing counterfeits and an insight into the legal profession with my fellow younger Victorians. It was also a nostalgic walk down memory lane for me as I recalled being just like the students in the audience and same hall that I used to sit in during simpler times which now seems aeons ago.

I sincerely hope that the advice and information that we had imparted helps them to, as our school motto goes, “Be Yet Wiser”. Feel free to reach out if you have ideas and more opportunities of giving back or collaborating.

Great to be back at my HELP University law school to conduct an International Trademark Association (INTA) Unreal Campaign presentation with Pui Keng Lim.

It was thought provoking while exchanging views regarding the significance of trademarks and negative social impact arising from the illicit trade in counterfeits with the students and future lawyers.

It was a pleasure moderating the ‘Online Brand Protection: Protecting Brands and Consumers Over Multiple Online Channels’ panel session at the ASIA Security High Security Printing, Anti-Counterfeiting & Brand Protection Conference & Exhibition.
